It was only a matter of time that a Linux enthusiastic soon-to-be programmer starts to learn about Vim, right? I did not start exactly voluntarily, though.
It started when I had to work on a course's project (hint: pset3), but I was not quite feeling like doing it. So I began thinking about what other things to learn without using too much of my brain's resources (it was feeling lazy). I wanted to learn something while also letting my brain chill-out. And with that thought I began playing around in bash and executed vim for some reason, only to find that its not installed! :O (Side Note:
vi was installed on Ubuntu).
A little Quacking afterwards made me try out
vimtutor, and et-voilà, I'm hooked. I have to say though, the learning curve is quite steep right now.
